European 4X Champion Joost Wichman signs with Gravity Group

Fourcross star Joost Wichman from the Netherlands has recently signed a long-term cooperation contract with GRAVITY GROUP.


Joost is a rider with huge and impressive BMX background. He was a professional BMX rider since 1998 and he decided to pay more attention to 4-Cross since last year.

2006 was the first only 4-Cross season for Joost and he finished it with outstanding results:

3 World Cup podiums in 5 races: 2 x 2nd place, 1x 4th place

European Champion title

3rd overall in World 4-Cross ranking
5th overall in World Cup 4-Cross



Joost’s major 2007 goal is to win his first World Cup as well as to increase his World Cup
podiums collection. But the highlight of this season will be World Championships in Scotland
where Joost will compete for the World Champion Title.
Also prestigious Crankworx and Sea Otter Classic belong to events where Joost will struggle
for the first places.
